FIFA does not permit video evidence during matches, officials can use technological devices such as re-plays to make sure referee’s calls are right. This can be done like how the NFL coaches challenges a call on the field. You get two challenges per game. If you challenge twice and both are successful, you are given a third challenge. You may use both your challenges in a half.
Instant replay should be used in reviewing a play using cameras at various angles to determine the accuracy of the initial call of the referee. An instant replay can take place in the event of a hand ball or otherwise controversial call at the request of a team’s head coach.
